But we cannot overlook the oily, extra cholesterol kind of foods which is an alarming threat for everyone. Instead of foods with high cholesterol let’s discuss few food items that will be appealing to the guests also it will be healthy!




As we are Bengalis let’s see what type of foods in the cuisine can please the Bengali people. To begin with a cashew nut salad is not at all a bad idea. The food contains chicken and cashew nut. Along with it carrots, cucumbers and a little bit of spice is sparkled on the top. It’s a combination of different foods and tastes indeed sweet yet crunchy. The delicious cashew nut is packed with energy, antioxidants, minerals and vitamins that are essential for our health. But it is better to keep in mind that Cashews are high in calories. They are packed with soluble dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals and numerous health-promoting phyto-chemicals that help protect us from diseases such as cancers. Research studies suggest that as the food is loaded with rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, it will greatly help us to prevent coronary artery disease and strokes by favoring healthy blood lipid profile. Besides chicken is a high protein food item enriched with amino acids.

To add more colors to the food menu we can unselfishly add a variety of seafood. Starting from shrimps, tilapia, tuna, salmon many other fishes can create beautiful side dishes. Seafood lovers any kind of heart disease. The presence of omega 3 oils – in seafood can save your body from suffering from blood clots and inflammation. Therefore, it’s a healthy food for clearing vessels and also for our skin.
A Bengali dish is incomplete with the presence of rice. Fried rice are well known for parties. There are many health benefits of rice which include its ability to provide fast and instant energy. Other benefits such as regulating and improving bowel movements, stabilizing blood sugar levels are one of the essential facts which summarizes why intake of rice is necessary for our daily life. Moreover, it provides an essential source of vitamin B1 to the human body. Rice provides protection against cancer, and heart disease. To sum up with, we can generally say that Rice is a fundamental food in many cultural cuisines around the world.

There is a stereotype about Bengali people that they are not much into vegetables. But what can stop them from testing a decorated vegetable salad, or soup or let’s say vegetable curry! Though a vegetable salad doesn’t seem like a much appealing lunch or dinner option people can happily try out soup or curry! In particular, vegetable-based soups are a great option nutritionally meaning we can get nutrients such as vitamins and minerals for relatively fewer calories. Health benefits of consuming vegetables include many water-soluble vitamins such as vitamin B, C, K as well as dietary fiber which help to regulate the digestive tract. In addition to this, eating soup has two benefits: firstly when we have soup first we tend to be full and consume less food afterward. So it’s a great plus point if anyone is interested in losing some weight. Followed by the first one, the next one is simply fluid retention. Lastly, why not mention fruits? It’s not a good idea to have fruits after taking a heavy meal but we can use fruits as a beverage! Consuming fruits is a healthy habit because it not only provides our body with vitamins and minerals to keep it in its most optimum form but its adds a glow to our skin, smoothing it all the way! Fruits are essential to prevent dreadful diseases. Moreover, it never fails to nourish our cells back to health.

No matter what we are doing or where we are its better to take extra care of the foods we are eating as it is directly linked to our health. Healthy Foods are more like a bridge that crosses over terrifying diseases that can eventually cause cancer or block our arteries to raise heart attacks! So basically party cannot be a factor to threaten our body with the extra oily foods if we stick onto the healthy foods which is both delicious and healthy! And we should always try to intake food in every four to six hours to prevent from us from ulcers or stomach cancers!
