Before you skip this point, I would like to inform you that it is really important that we are advised to brush our teeth twice a day is because removing any food debris that is left in our mouth after completing any meal. Bacteria can feed on that food and cause the formation of plaque. So if you want to avoid bacteria please brush your teeth at night before going to bed if you want to avoid the following day’s morning brush or missed brushing on the current day’s morning.

Another point is the make sure which quality of brush you are using. A soft-bristled toothbrush is the best kind of brush because it can clean more food debris than other brushes. Also, keep in mind that the toothpaste you are using must contain fluoride.

You must continue to brush your teeth at least for two to three minutes maximum.  Brushing teeth with baking soda can help to reduce the acidity in the mouth and make it hard for bacteria that cause bad breath to grow.

Food debris can be soft, as well as hard. The hardest food debris is not easy to remove because they cling when you chew something. For example-raisins, sticky candy or granola bars. Starchy and sugary foods are some of the most harmful kinds of food for your teeth. If sugar is not dispelled from your teeth, bacteria feeds on the sugar and a plaque is formed further creating tooth decay.
